A woman has been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for burglary in Farnborough.
At around 12.30am yesterday (14 December), officers were called to a report that two suspicious men were attempting to gain entry to a vehicle on Fernhill Road.
Officers attended the scene but the two men were not located. Nothing was reported stolen.
Following a patrol of the area, officers noticed that a woman was parked in a silver BMW nearby. The car was searched and various tools including bolt cutters and an angle grinder, gloves, wires and cables were found inside.
A 22-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for burglary.
She has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
