Witness appeal following robbery in Aldershot

We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a robbery in Aldershot this morning.

At around 9am today (4 December), a white Ford Transit DPD van was parked in Bell Chase. As the driver walked to the rear of the van to get a parcel, a small white vehicle, similar to a BMW 1 Series or Audi A3, pulled up behind.

Three men then got out of the car and the driver was grabbed by one of them before being pushed away by another, with a crowbar.

The men caused damage to the van as they proceeded to steal a number of packages from both the back of the vehicle and from the front seat.

Two of the men have been described as being white.

Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out various lines of enquiry and are now appealing for witnesses.

We would like to hear from anyone who has a dashcam footage in their vehicle who was driving along the A325 from Farnborough Gate to Bell Chase around the time of the incident.
