Three young men have been arrested as part of ongoing work to tackle drug related crime in Basingstoke.
Officers stopped a vehicle on Colyer Close at around 9.30pm last night (4 September) and found suspected Class A and Class B drugs, a large quantity of cash, phones, a knife and other items which could be used as weapons.
A 19-year-old man, from Basingstoke, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B, possession of a controlled drug of Class A and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A 20-year-old man, from Basingstoke, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.
A 21-year-old man, from Basingstoke, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.
All three men remain in custody at this time and our enquiries are ongoing.
