Three arrested for drugs supply offences in Basingstoke

Three people have been arrested as part of ongoing work to tackle drug related crime in Basingstoke.

This comes after officers visited an address on Woburn Gardens yesterday, 3 September, and conducted a search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A quantity of suspected Class A drugs, a knife, and a quantity of cash were seized.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from London, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, and acquiring or possessing criminal property. A 44 year-old woman from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

All three remain in custody at this time.
