A man has been jailed for almost two years for a burglary in Basingstoke.
Jamie Chandler, 33, from Montserrat Road, Basingstoke, was sentenced to 22 months after pleading guilty to one count of burglary.
Winchester Crown Court heard that Chandler broke into a property and stole £100 from a man at around 1.40am on Sunday 27 November last year.
Chandler denied aggravated burglary and was found not guilty by a jury following a two-day trial at the same court in July.
The 22-month sentence imposed on Thursday 31 August includes the time Chandler has already served in custody, while he was on remand for this offence.
