A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after officers carried out local proactive patrols in Basingstoke.
Officers spotted what they thought was suspicious behaviour while driving along Queen Mary Avenue yesterday (28 September).
They searched a vehicle and suspected Class A drugs and cash was found.
Officers later searched a house in the town where suspected Class A drugs and a large quantity a cash was located.
A 24-year-old man, from Wokingham, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
He was also arrested on suspicion of harassment without violence and stalking without fear, alarm or distress.
An 18-year-old woman, from Basingstoke, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
The pair have been bailed with conditions until 28 December while our enquiries continue.
