Three men have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft after officers stopped a vehicle on the M3 near Basingstoke.
At around 2.50am today (24 October), a Mercedes was stopped at Junction 6 southbound.
Officers found more than £7,500 in cash, gloves, phones and a laptop inside the vehicle.
A 37-year-old man from London, a 23-year-old man from London, and a 27-year-old man from Southend-on-Sea, were arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle.
They all remain in custody and our enquiries are ongoing.
