Officers investigating a number of shoplifting incidents in Southampton have since charged a man.
The charges come after a retail store on Shirley High Street reportedly had items removed from the premises on two separate occasions on Monday 2 October and Tuesday 3 October.
Kini Williams Hailstone, 29, of Millbrook Road West in Southampton has been charged with theft from a shop.
Hailstone is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 4 October).
