A man has been charged with drugs offences and assaulting a police officer in Fleet.
Flakron Shalaku, 34, of no fixed abode, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court yesterday (24 October).
He was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and one count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.
Shalaku was also charged with assault by beating of an emergency worker and two counts of failing / refusing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test.
It comes after a man was stop checked and found to be in possession of Class A and Class B drugs in Fleet earlier this year.
Meanwhile, on 20 October, an officer was assaulted during the arrest in Fleet. He suffered minor injuries.
Shalaku has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 22 November.
