A man has been charged with shoplifting offences in Basingstoke.
Leon Davies, 25, from Sycamore Tree Road, Oakley, has been charged with eight counts of theft from a shop.
It comes after officers received reports that items worth a total of more than £450 were stolen from various stores, including Superdrug in the town centre and Tesco Express on Carpenters Down, between 15 October and 25 October.
Davies is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (27 October).
