A man has been jailed for 22 weeks after pleading guilty to shoplifting and common assault offences in Farnborough and Aldershot.
Christopher Waite, 34, from Coombe Way, Farnborough, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday 16 October).
He was charged with two counts of theft from a shop and two counts of common assault.
It comes after officers received reports that alcohol was stolen from the Tesco Express store on Cove Road, Farnborough, on 27 September and 1 October.
Meanwhile, officers received two separate reports of assault at Smyths Toys in Farnborough on 20 July and at Bargain Buys in Aldershot on 29 July.
Waite admitted all of the offences at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and was sentenced to 22 weeks in prison.
