Woman, 31, charged with attempt murder following in incident near Cobden Bridge in Southampton

Officers investigating an incident near Cobden Bridge, Southampton, on Thursday 26 October have charged a woman with attempt murder.

We were called at 3.38pm following reports that a woman had entered the water near Cobden Bridge with two young children.

Emergency services attended the scene and all three people were recovered and received treatment.

Rhonda Micetich, 31, from Argyle Road, Southampton, has been charged with two counts of attempt murder.

She appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court today (4 November) and was remanded into custody.

Micetich is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 1 December.
