Two 14-year-old boys have been charged with multiple shoplifting offences in the Eastleigh and Hedge End areas.
One of the teenagers, from Eastleigh, was arrested in High Street, West End at 5pm last Tuesday (14 November).
He has since been charged with four shoplifting offences, all of which are reported to have occurred on the 25 and 28 October at Tesco in St Lukes Close, Hedge End and Co-op in Leigh Road, Eastleigh.
The other teenage boy, also from Eastleigh, was arrested in Upper Market Street, Eastleigh at 1.20pm yesterday (Monday 13 November).
He has now been charged with three shoplifting offences, reported to have occurred on the 25 and 28 October at Tesco in St Lukes Close, Hedge End and Sainsbury’s in Tollbar Way, Hedge End.
Both boys have been released on conditional bail and will appear before Southampton Youth Court on Monday 4 December.
