Officers investigating a public order incident in Odiham have made their seventh and eighth arrests as part of their investigation.
Police were called at around 3.15pm on Sunday 8 October to reports of a disturbance involving two groups of people at a site off the A287 Farnham Road, near the Chalky Lane junction.
A man sustained an injury to his head from what we believe to be a strike with a crowbar, while a man at the scene was also reportedly seen with a gun. We believe all the parties involved are known to each other.
Since it was reported to us, officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and have now arrested a total of eight men.
Officers arrested two men this morning (13 November).
A 38-year-old man from Mortimer Common was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, violent disorder and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
A 22-year-old man from Bramley was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and violent disorder.
Both men remain in custody while our enquiries are ongoing.
