We have charged a second man in connection with a high value house burglary which took place in Southampton in May.
It was reported to us that on May 15 2023 between 9.30am and 4.30pm, a house on Purcell Road was broken into and various items including handbags, purses, watches, shoes, clothing and jewellery were taken. The items stolen were worth more than £65,000 in total.
Officers investigating this incident have now arrested and charged Danny Kernaghan, 37, of Station Mews, with dwelling burglary.
This comes after James John Moncrieff Poole, 29, of no fixed abode, was charged with dwelling burglary earlier this month in connection with the incident.
Both men are due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 1 December.
