We have charged a man with shoplifting offences following a number of incidents in Southampton and Eastleigh.
Mark Collison, 45, of no fixed abode, has been charged with six counts of theft in connection with the following incidents:
• On September 18 four bottles of alcohol were taken from the Little Waitrose store in West Quay Shopping Centre and a further four bottles of wine were taken from the Welcome Co-op store at Liberty Quays.
• Six bottles of wine were taken from the Welcome Co-op store at Liberty Quays On September 19.
• On October 7 a guitar worth £300 was taken from the Cash Converters store on Leigh Road in Eastleigh.
• On November 13 alcohol worth £441 was taken from Tesco at the Swan Centre in Eastleigh.
• On December 3 Collison was located in Southampton city centre with items worth £180, suspected to have been stolen from the Superdry store.
Collison is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 4 December).
