A 32-year-old Totton man was last night (Wednesday 1 November) arrested in Junction Road, Totton on suspicion of common assault, criminal damage and two shopliftings.
Joseph Daniel Arnold, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with all four offences and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday 2 November).
The charges relate to incidents reported in September, one each at stores in Water Lane and Maynard Road, Totton, and two in Nutshalling Close, Calmore.
