Officers investigating the serious assault of a man in Southampton last Thursday (26 October) have made a number of further arrests as their enquiries continue:
We previously arrested a 64-year-old man from Southampton on suspicion of assisting an offender, a 13-year-old boy from Southampton on suspicion of attempted murder and a second 13-year-old boy from Southampton on suspicion of assault. They have been released from police custody on conditional bail, pending further enquiries.
The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained stab wounds during an assault in Laburnum Road.
He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
Our investigation into this incident is continuing and local neighbourhood officers are patrolling locally throughout this week.
We would still like to hear from anyone they have not yet spoken to who may have information to assist our enquiries.
Anyone with information who we have not yet spoken to is asked to call 101 quoting reference 44230439124.
