Police officers investigating a serious assault in Southampton have charged a teenager in relation to the incident.
The charges come after a 16-year-old boy reported being assaulted on Thornhill Park Road at around 1.45pm on Tuesday 23 May.
A 16-year-old boy from Southampton – who cannot be named for legal reasons – has been charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent and possession of a knife blade / share pointed article in a public place.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court where he was further remanded in custody. He is due to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 5 June.
