We have charged two men following a serious assault in Ringwood.
Police were called to Wessex Estate at 4.16pm on Friday 10 March, with reports that a man in his 40s had been assaulted.
The victim sustained serious injuries to his face.
Officers attended and arrested two men who have since been charged.
Michael Sadler, aged 29, of Westbury Close in Bransgore has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and assault by beating.
Leo Shields, aged 25, of no fixed abode, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both men have been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 13 March).
