Officers investigating a serious assault incident in Southampton have since charged a man in relation to the incident.
The charges come after a man and a woman reported suffering serious injuries during an assault at an address on Stafford Road in Shirley on Friday 9 June.
Darren Cleaver, aged 50, of Stafford Road has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 14 June and was further remanded in custody. Darren Cleaver is next due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 7 July.
