Two men have been arrested after officers responded to a burglary in the Copythorne area.
It comes after the owner of an outbuilding attended an address between Barrow Hill Road and Winsor Road just before 6.20pm on Saturday 29 July; after being notified that their CCTV was offline.
Upon arrival, the victim has located two men at the scene having caused significant damage to the property; with attempts to pull out pipe-work and copper wiring.
Officers were deployed to the scene and located two men nearby, who were detained and arrested as a result.
A 28-year-old man from Pennington was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal.
A 33-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal, handing stolen good and possession of a Class A drug.
They have both been released on conditional bail until Sunday 29 October while police enquiries remain ongoing.
