Detectives have charged a man with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs in Basingstoke.
Chicaine Bromfield, 23, of no fixed abode, has been charged with the following offences:
• Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – crack cocaine
• Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – heroin
• Possession of an offensive weapon in a public place
The charges relate to an arrest made by officers from Basingstoke’s Priority Crime Team, in woodland off Cliddesden Road, on Saturday 29 July.
Suspected Class A drugs and a lock knife were seized.
Bromfield appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 31 July) and has been remanded to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Friday 25 August.
