Man charged following New Milton assault

Officers investigating an assault in the New Milton area have charged a man in relation to the incident.
The charges come after a woman reported being assaulted at a property on Davis Field during Sunday 9 July and Monday 10 July.
Aaron Francis Phillips, 40, of Davis Field, New Milton has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and false imprisonment.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (12 July) where he was further remanded in custody, until the next hearing at Southampton Crown Court on 11 August.
