Two charged with robbery at Alton petrol station

Two people have been charged with a robbery at a petrol station in Alton.
Darren Clarke, 38, of no fixed abode, and Scott John Harvey, 31, of Selborne Road, Alton, have both been charged with robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident at the BP petrol station in Butts Road, which took place at around 8pm on Sunday 15 January.
Both men appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 17 January), and are next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 15 February.
