We have arrested two people in Havant in connection with Class A drugs supply in the early hours of this morning (Friday 27 January).
Shortly after midnight, patrolling officers spotted a vehicle in the Cricketers Way area that they believed to be involved in drug-related activity.
The vehicle was stopped on Purbrook Way and the occupants were searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
More than £100 in cash, drugs paraphernalia and Class A drugs were located, as well as three mobile phones.
A 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman from Havant were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Both remain in police custody at the current time and an investigation is underway.
We would like to remind people to please report any suspicious or drugs-related activity in your area.
