Man found guilty of sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a bus travelling between Fareham and Locks Heath.

A man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a teenager in Fareham.
Mandeep Singh Gill, aged 42, and of Copse Close in Otterbourne, targeted a girl he did not know whilst he was sat on a bus on Friday 4 March, 2022.
Portsmouth Crown Court heard that a 17-year-old girl had got on the X5 First Bus that afternoon, which was travelling between Fareham and Locks Heath, when she was sexually assaulted over her clothing by Gill.
An investigation was launched, following which Gill was identified and subsequently arrested and charged.
He denied one count of sexual assault, and the case went to trial on Wednesday 4 January 2023.
The jury found Gill guilty of the offence, and he was bailed to appear at the same court for sentencing on Friday 10 February, 2023.
