A man has appeared in court charged with drugs supply following a proactive stop and search in Basingstoke on 3 February.
Gerald Hoxha, 25, from The Avenue, Worcester Park, Surrey has been charged with the following offences:
It comes after officers stopped a car on Holbein Close having seen it being driven in a suspicious manner on Black Dam Way.
After they stopped the car, the driver attempted to run off however he was caught and detained.
Officers searched the car and found a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and cash.
Hoxha appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court yesterday was remanded to next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, 9 March.
