A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of drug importation and supply offences, following warrants carried out in Sutton Scotney today (Monday 11 December).
This morning, officers from Winchester Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team carried out the warrants in Buddlesgate and Harding Close.
The warrants were in connection with an investigation into the supply of cannabis.
A 29-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of improper importation of goods – controlled drug of Class B, and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.
Both remain in police custody while our enquiries continue.
