A 39-year-old man has been charged with GBH with intent, dwelling burglary with violence and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Marcus Hearn, of Mortimer Close, Totton was arrested at 11pm on Sunday (10 December) and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Having entered no plea to each of the three charges, Hearn has been remanded in custody to next appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 12 January 2024.
It follows a reported incident at an address in Rumbridge Street, Totton shortly after 8pm on Sunday evening.
A 22-year-old man, from Southampton, and a 50-year-old woman, from Totton, were also arrested on suspicion of conspire to cause GBH, in connection with the same incident.
They have both since been released on conditional bail, pending further enquiries.
