Gosport shoplifter to be sentenced in Crown Court

A man has admitted Gosport shoplifting offences in court this week.

Yesterday, 38-year-old Aaron Cruickshank, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the following charges:

• Theft of £92 worth of goods from Co-op in Dartmouth Court on 21 November.
• Theft of £112.85 worth of food and goods from One Stop in Elson Lane on 26 November.
• Theft of £76.75 worth of chocolate from One Stop in Elson Lane on 26 November.
• Theft of £84 worth of alcohol from Tesco in Alver Village Square on 29 November.
• Theft of £45.94 worth of coffee from Farm Foods in Forton Road on 6 December.
• Theft of £63.92 worth of drinks from Home Bargains in Brockhurst Gate on 14 December.

At the Portsmouth Magistrates Court hearing, he was remanded in custody to appear at the Crown Court for sentencing on 19 January 2024.
