Man, 22, arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in Basingstoke

A man has been arrested following an incident in the Brighton Hill area of Basingstoke this morning.
Officers were called at 6.56am today (29 August) to a report of an aggravated burglary at an address on Barber Road.
A window had been smashed and an electric scooter had been taken from the property.
A 22-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
He remains in custody and our enquiries are ongoing.
