Officers investigating a racially aggravated assault and public order incident in Southampton have today (11 September) charged a man in connection with the offences.
The charges come after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a property on Coxford Road just after 10am yesterday morning – Saturday 10 September.
Levi Allan, aged 22, of Coxford Road in Southampton has been charged with malicious communications after making abusive and threatening calls to the 999 service, racially aggravated assault by beating, assault by beating, affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates tomorrow morning (12 September).
