A man has been charged in connection with a rape in the New Forest.
We were called at 3.04pm on Wednesday 14 September following a report that a teenage girl had been raped in the Totton area.
Denis Huel Kadena, aged 33, of Yorke Street in Southsea, has since been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 23 September) and has been further remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 21 October.
The girl is being supported by specialist officers.
