Southampton man charged with multiple shoplifting offences

A Southampton man has been charged with multiple shoplifting offences.
On Friday (7 October), officers were searching for a man who was wanted in connection with several shoplifting incidents in Southampton between 2 September and 27 September.
He was located in Grange Road, Netley Abbey, and arrested at 10.15pm.
Floyd Gradidge, 42, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton, has been charged with:
- Four counts of theft from a shop
- Attempted theft from a shop
- Assault by beating
- Burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (10 October) where he was remanded to appear on 31 October at the same court.
