Dorset man charged following assault in New Milton

Officers investigating an assault in the New Milton area have charged a man.
The charges come after a man was assaulted outside an address on Wagtail Drive in New Milton at around 8.30pm on Thursday 1 September.
Jordan Thomas McClay, aged 32, of Marsh Lane, Christchurch in Dorset was charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and threats to damage or destroy property.
McClay appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday 3 October, where he was further remanded in custody. He is now due to next appear at Southampton Crown Court on Monday 31 October.
