A man has been charged following a serious assault in Ryde.
Officers were called at 3.31pm on Friday (27 May) after a man in his 20s sustained a single wound to the torso in Oak Vale, Oakfield, consistent with being stabbed.
The man was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
William Kulik, 22, from Mayfield Road, Ryde, has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and has been remanded to appear at Newport Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday 30 May).
