Police officers investigating a shoplifting incident in Chandler’s Ford have charged a woman with numerous offences.
The charges come after it is alleged that a number of items were taken without payment from an Asda supermarket at around 3.15pm on Tuesday 29 March on Bournemouth Road.
Nicola Louise Pratt, aged 40 of Shirley Road in Southampton was charged with theft from shop, assaulting an emergency worker and racially aggravated public order.
She appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning (31 March) and was released on unconditional bail, due to appear before the same court on Wednesday 27 April.
