A Southampton man has been charged with several shoplifting offences.
Officers on patrol arrested a man in Southern Road in Southampton at around 11am on Sunday in connection with failing to appear at court.
Peter Rosher, 35, of no fixed address, was charged with eight counts of theft from a shop, using threatening or abusive words and behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and two counts of common assault of an emergency worker.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (28 March) where he was further remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (30 March).
