Officers investigating an attempted robbery that took place in Aldershot on Friday, 25 February have charged a man.
Darren Watts, aged 28, from Alexandra Road, Aldershot has been charged with attempted robbery.
It comes after a man approached a 78-year-old man in the public toilets in Manor Park, Aldershot and assaulted him whilst making demands for money.
Watts appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court this morning (31 March) and has been remanded in custody to next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, 4 May.
