Officers on routine patrol in Totton have arrested a teenage boy after a successful stop and search in the early hours of this morning (30 March).
Two officers spotted two men acting in a suspicious manner at around 1.30am on Water Lane in Totton.
They were spoken to and detained for the purposes of a search.
A quantity of Class B drugs and a knife were located and seized as a result.
A 16-year-old boy from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He was later released under investigation, pending further police enquiries.
