Police investigating reports of firearm offences being committed in Calmore have last night (5 June) charged a man.
The charges come after a man was threatened with an imitation firearm at around 9.35pm on Thursday 2 June at a property on Calmore Drive.
Glenn Martin Jones, aged 48, of Calmore Drive was charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place, possession of an imitation firearm with intent cause fear of violence, using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence and possession of a Class B drug.
He appeared at court today (6 June) and was remanded in custody, where he will appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 8 July.
