Man charged following sexual assault in Southampton

A man has been charged following a sexual assault in Southampton in the early hours of Sunday (17 July).
We were called at 1.38am to a report that a man had sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s over clothing at a nightclub in Lower Bannister Street.
Aliou Bah, 33, of Bishops Road, Southampton, has been charged with sexual assault on a female.
He was remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (18 July) where he was bailed with conditions to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 15 August.
