A man has admitted stabbing someone in Oakfield, Isle of Wight, at a plea hearing yesterday (Tuesday 5 July).
Police were called at 3.31pm on Friday 27 May, following reports that a man in his 20s had suffered a stab wound to his torso in Oak Vale.
He was taken to hospital and was discharged a short time later.
Following enquiries, 22-year-old William Kulik, of Mayfield Road in Ryde, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Appearing at Isle of Wight Crown Court yesterday, he admitted the offence.
He was bailed with conditions, by the court, to appear at the same court on 8 September for sentencing.
