A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Southampton.
We were called out at 4.14pm on 12 February following reports of a serious assault at the rear of Sprinkles Gelato on Portswood Road in Southampton.
John Paul Beesley, 43, from St Denys Road, Southampton, has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, and wounding with intent.
He was remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (18 February).
