Officers have arrested a London man on suspicion of drugs offences following a successful stop and search in Marchwood.
At around 11am on Monday 21 February, officers patrolling the A35 stopped a man suspected to be driving while under the influence of drugs.
Officers eventually stopped a white Vauxhall on Park Lane in Marchwood and carried out a search of the man and vehicle. Nothing was found – however, he did fail a drugs wipe at the roadside for Class B drugs.
A 29-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.
He was questioned by officers and released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
