Police investigating a spree of shoplifting incidents across New Milton have charged multiple people in relation to the incidents.
The charges come after items including meat, alcohol and clothing were allegedly stolen from supermarkets between Saturday 19 November and Monday 12 December in New Milton.
Stephen Michael McCarthy, aged 39, of Lockerly Crescent, Southampton has been charged with four counts of theft from a shop, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
Jodie Marie McDermott, aged 33, of Cromer Road, Southampton has been charged with three counts of theft from a shop.
Jody Khalid Moylette, aged 39 of Cromer Road, Southampton has been charged with two counts of theft from a shop.
All three appeared at court yesterday (19 December) and were remanded in custody. They will appear again at Southampton Magistrates Court on Friday 22 December.
Whilst a 35-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of theft. She was later released and no further action taken against her.
