A Southampton man has been charged with sexual assaults and shoplifting.
We received a report that on 27 July at around 9pm at a petrol station in Northam Road, a man took items without paying and sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s over her clothing.
It was also reported to us that at 11.30pm the same day, another woman in her 20s was also sexually assaulted over her clothing in Northam Road by a man who then attempted to follow her into her flat nearby.

He was remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (2 August) where he was bailed with conditions to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 2 September.
