Man charged following Southampton knife incident
A man has been charged following a knife-related incident in Southampton.
At around 12.09pm yesterday (29 August), officers were on patrol when they saw a man acting suspiciously in Banister Road.
The man did not stop when approached by the officers so they followed him. The man then produced two large kitchen knives and pointed them at the officers, who deployed their tasers before eventually arresting him.
Cori Bone, 25, of Faircross Close, Holbury, was charged with possessing a knife in a public place and breach of bail conditions.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 30 August where he was remanded to appear at the same court on 5 September.
