Man charged following business burglaries in Horndean, Havant and Rowlands Castle

Officers investigating a number of business burglaries in Horndean, Havant and Rowlands Castle have charged a man.

William Gould, aged 45, of Durrants Road, Rowlands Castle has been charged with the following:

• Burglary at The Golden Lion, Bedhampton Road, Havant on 8 June. A safe was stolen.
• Burglary at Hair Raising, Portsmouth Road, Horndean on 25 July. An I-pad, three GHD hair straighteners and cash was stolen.
• Burglary at Harvester, Whichers Gate Road, Rowlands Castle on 27 July. A charity box containing cash was stolen.
• Two burglaries at Barber on the Green, Durrants Road, Rowlands Castle on 28 July. An Ipad, books, card payment machine, camera and cash were stolen.

Gould appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday, 8 August) and has been remanded to next appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday, 12 September.
